The difference between the low temperature control valve and the normal temperature control valve is that it uses a long-necked upper valve cover so that the packing can work at normal temperature. It is suitable for the regulation of media under low temperature and strong conditions, such as liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen. To ensure adjustment accuracy, a valve positioner must be used. Equipped with a multi-spring execution structure, it has the advantages of compact overall structure, light weight and good stability. The valve body adopts a precision casting structure and is made of low-temperature-resistant metal, which has good low-temperature resistance. The bellows seal ensures that the regulating valve does not leak in low temperature situations. Therefore, it is widely used in low temperature and cryogenic applications such as metallurgy, air separation, oxygen production, petrochemical industry, etc.
Structural Principle The pneumatic low-temperature regulating valve is composed of a pneumatic diaphragm actuator and a low-temperature-resistant single and double-seat valve. The signal pressure from the regulator is input into the air chamber of the pneumatic diaphragm actuator, which generates thrust and drives the valve core through the connecting rod. The change in the position of the valve core causes the flow cross-sectional area of the valve to change, thereby adjusting the medium flow rate.
Installation of imported pneumatic low-temperature regulating valve
It should be installed vertically on horizontal pipelines. In special circumstances, when horizontal or inclined installation is required, support should generally be added.
When installing, the medium flow direction should be consistent with the direction indicated by the valve body.
It should be installed close to the ground or floor to facilitate maintenance and repair. For those equipped with valve positioners or handwheel mechanisms, observation, adjustment and operation should be ensured and convenient.
Set up a bypass pipeline so that when the automatic control system fails or the regulating valve is repaired, it can be switched to manual operation without stopping production.
The pipeline should be cleaned of dirt and welding slag before installation of the regulating valve. After installation, fully open the regulating valve, clean the pipelines, valves, etc. and test the sealing of each connection. []
Precautions for storage, installation and use
This valve should be stored in a dry room, and both ends of the passage must be blocked. Stacking and storage is not allowed.
Regulating valves stored for a long time should be inspected regularly to remove dirt, and anti-rust oil should be applied to each moving part and processing surface to prevent rust.
When this valve is stored on the ground, the actuator must be upward, the valve stem must be upward, and it must be installed upside down.
